Recommended Tools:
Trowel notch sizes and spread rates are guidelines, it is the responsibility of the installer to apply enough
adhesive based on the needs of the floor covering and the condition of the substrate.
For smooth (non-textured) backings on planks, tiles, and sheet flooring
- U-notch 1/32” D x 1/16” W x 1/32” A
- Up to 260 sq. ft. / per gal (780 sq. ft. per 3-gal pail).
- Up to 24.1 sq. m / L (72.4 sq. m per 11.35 L pail)
For smooth (non-textured) backings on planks, tiles, and sheet flooring
- V-notch 1/16” D x 1/16” W x 1/16” A
- Up to 160 sq. ft. per gal (480 sq. ft. per 3-gal pail)
- Up to 14.8 sq. m / per L (44.5 sq. m per 11.35 L pail)
For textured, sanded, or structured backings on planks, tiles, and sheet flooring. For indoor/outdoor carpet, synthetic grass, entrance mats
- V-notch 3/32” D x 3/32” W x 3/32” A
- Up to 135 sq. ft. / gal (405 sq. ft. per 3-gal pail)
- Up to 12.5 sq. m / L (37.6 sq. m per 11.35 L pail)
