HENRY® 121 “Belt & Suspenders” Adhesive Introduced
New HENRY adhesive provides extra security for nail-down wood flooring installations
The W.W. Henry Company, a leading manufacturer of premium flooring adhesives recently introduced HENRY® 121 “Belt & Suspenders” Adhesive that is used to provide additional bonding support to wood flooring installations when using mechanical fasteners.
Recent National Hardwood Flooring Association (NWFA) Installation Guidelines recommend the use of an adhesive in conjunction with nail-down wood floor installations to help reduce end-lifting and provide extra holding power to achieve a longer, more successful result. HENRY 121 is a high-solids acrylic-urethane hybrid adhesive that has an excellent initial grab with high-bond strength that cleans up very easily. It is available in a convenient, easy to use “belt & suspenders” 30 oz. cartridge.
“Based on NWFA recommendations, combined with the feedback from our distributor and wood flooring installer customers we responded with HENRY 121,” said David Fabyonic, Market Segment Manager for Adhesives with The W.W. Henry Company. “HENRY 121 provides our customers with the extra assurance they desire and the strong performance they expect from a HENRY adhesive.”
“HENRY 121 is one more step in our on-going commitment to the development of innovative products that fills a void in the market and delivers added-value to our customers,” stated Stephan Liozu, President & CEO of ARDEX Engineered Cements and The W.W. Henry Company.
HENRY 121 will be available through professional flooring and contractor distributors throughout the United States.
