Convenience and Value Inspires the New HENRY® Spreader

Aliquippa, PA (February 13, 2009) The W.W. Henry Company, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of premium flooring adhesives and substrate preparation products has introduced the HENRY® Spreader, a very durable, lightweight tool used to spread and smooth self-leveling underlayments.

The HENRY Spreader provides an easy, quick and cost-effective solution for the professional contractor with only the occasional self-leveling job. The new tool is made from a durable plastic and it is lightweight. The spreader is easy to use and maneuver with its 18” wide base and an adjustable depth gauge for three different depths. The tool is easy to assemble and the complete unit, including the handle comes in one convenient package.
"Product innovation and delivering value to our customers is more important than ever in these difficult economic times, " stated Stephan Liozu, President & CEO, ARDEX Engineered Cements and The W.W. HENRY Company. "The HENRY Spreader is one of many new products that will be introduced throughout 2009 that will provide our customers the value, efficiency and performance to compete effectively and profitably."
The HENRY Spreader can be used with all HENRY or ARDEX Self-Leveling Underlayment products. The spreaders will be available at professional flooring and contractor distributors throughout North America.
"This is another excellent example of listening to our customers," said Mike Crouch, Executive VP & General Manager of The W.W. Henry Company. "The HENRY Spreader fills the niche for those contractors that only have self-leveling needs from time-to-time. Now there is a tool available to properly spread and smooth self-leveling underlayments without the need to invest in a heavy duty metal spreader."
